My office has received a new plan. It is for Kirkwood Highway Magic Car Wash located on Kirkwood Highway, south of Griffin Drive. From the site plan, it looks like it is the car wash located next to Kirkwood Automotive Center. The plan is to demolish a portion of the building and construct a new portion along rear and southern side less than 1,000 square feet. Click on the link above for more information.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
New Castle County is holding a Hazardous Waste Collection Event at the New Castle County Government Center located at 87 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720. The event will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 8 AM - 4 PM. For a list of types of household hazardous waste that will be accepted, please click on this link: HHW Brochure You can also contact the Delaware Solid Waste Authority at 800-404-7080 for more information or questions. Electronic goods WILL NOT be accepted at this event. **You will not see this event listed in the link since it was recently added**
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10 AM - 2 PM.
